The late Spring finally arrives…

Spring has been slow in making it’s entrance here in Cwm Croesor, but when it did it seems to have all arrived in quick succession. We have had daffodils quickly superceded by primroses, then the emergence of the new lime green beech leaves and now the ultramarine dusting of bluebells. All within the space of a month…a month of cold weather with light sprinklings of snow, some warm sunshine and the usual quota of wind and rain we have become accustomed to up here. The lushness of nature blooming is a welcome respite from the bleakness of the past winter. It is a truly magical time of year in this small valley.
